HYSA O'pen Skiff & El Toro Clinic @KYC

Welcome to the 2024 HYSA Sailing season.  If you are new to HYSA, youth sailors must register for a 2024 HYSA Membership before registering for the clinic.

HYSA O'pen Skiff & El Toro Clinic, Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Kaneohe Yacht Club, 8:00 am - approx. 4:30 pm

A full day of training on the O'pen Skiff and the El Toro sailboats. Junior sailors will learn to improve their basic boat handling-skills. It will be geared toward the intermediate  & advanced sailors looking to improve their starts, racing tactics, and course awareness.

EARLY Registration Deadline:   April 4, Thursday, at 6:30 pm ($60)

LATE Registration Fee applies after that: + $10 applied to clinic fee ($70)

-If you need to cancel your registration, please contact, hysaboard@gmail.com by Friday, April 5th, 6:30 pm, and a full refund will be provided. Thereafter, and up until the morning of check-in, a 50% refund will be provided.

8:30 am - 9:30 am   Rigging Demo, Discussions

9:30 - 11:30 am        H2O Session 1: Boat Handling, Drills & Tactics

11:30 am                     Sail in for Lunchtime - Provided by HYSA

12:00 - 1:00 pm        Lunch Time & Regatta Talks

1:00-2:30 pm            H2O Session 2 - Race Starts and Tactics

2:30 pm                       Sail in, Derig & Load boats onto trailers

3:30 - 4:00 pm         Debrief & Snacks

Parents can pick up their sailor after 4pm
