2026 HYSA O'pen Skiff & El Toro Clinic, Jan. 24-25
Get two full training days on the O'pen Skiff or El Toro to improve your starts, racing tactics, and course awareness. Fee is $95 for both days, $65 for one day. Register by January 22 to avoid $10 late fee.

About the Event
HYSA O'pen Skiff & El Toro Clinic January 24-25, 2026 at Kaneohe Yacht Club
If you're new to HYSA, you must register for a 2026 HYSA membership before registering for this clinic.
This clinic features two full training days on the O'pen Skiff or El Toro sailboat. The clinic is geared toward intermediate and advanced sailors. You'll learn how to improve basic boat-handling skills, starts, racing tactics, and course awareness.

Saturday: 8:30 am check-in, 4:30 pm finish
Sunday: 8:00 am check-in, 4:00 pm finish
Registration deadline: January 22, Thursday, at 11:59 pm
Late registration fee of $10 for registrations January 23 and after
What's Included, What's Not
Both days: Bring your water bottle, sunscreen, PFD, helmet, gloves, and sunglasses.
Saturday: Bring your own lunch.
Sunday: HYSA will provide lunch on the water, plus pizza or bento for the afternoon debrief.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
You must email hysaboard@gmail.com to request a refund. Clinic fees are fully refundable up to 24 hours before the start of the clinic, minus a $10 cancellation fee. Cancellations during the clinic days are given at a 50% refund, minus a cancellation fee of $10. Cancellations received after this period are NON-REFUNDABLE.

4:00-4:30 Debrief sailing talk
4:30 Pick up

8:30 Rig your boat
9:00 General meeting and regatta prep talk (race committee procedures & rules)
9:30 Start line talk
10:00-11:30 H2O Session 3: Starts
11:30 Lunch on the water (provided by HYSA)
12:00-1:30 Races
2:00 Sail in and de-rig
2:30-3:00 Load boats
3:00 Wrap up, pizza or bento (provided by HYSA)
4:00 Pick up
