SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 

Thursday, June 8 

1130  Check-in / Registration - Skipper/Coach 

1200  Competitors’ Meeting - All Racers 

1230   Borrowed Boat Orientation - Optional 

1300   Clinic and Practice Race(s), First Race follows 

1630   No Start later than  

Friday, June 9 

1130  Competitors Meeting – all racers 

1230  Warning for First Race of the Day – all racers 

1600  No Start later than 

1700  Awards after all boats cleaned and secured

**US Sailing membership is required.

Here are a few qualification reminders:

- Must have reached their 13 birthday and not their 19 birthday in this 2023 calendar year

- Must be a Hawaii resident and regularly compete in Hawaii

- Must be a member of US Sailing, and an LSO-Local Sailing Organization (which includes either the HYSA, HYRA, a sailing or yacht club)

- PHYC has held "Juice Box Races" on the last Thursday of the month and provided a discount to the teams ($25, instead of their $15 each sailor) to join in on their fun evening race days and to get additional time out on the Rhodes.  Stay tuned for the next announcement and reminder on their Facebook and Instagram accounts!  Or, if your sailors are military-affiliated they can rent out a boat on their own time, check in with the Hickam Harbor office for details.

** The top two winning teams of the 2023 Area H Sears Cup Qualifier will go on to compete at the Chubb US Youth Triplehanded Championship for the Sears Cup Trophy in Seabrook, TX at Lakewood Yacht Club, August 10-13th.
